- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
- Remove from heat, and stir in the lemon juice and zest along with salt and pepper.
- Place cod fillets in a baking dish and pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over them.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cod is flaky and fully cooked.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead: Prepare the garlic butter sauce in advance and warm before use. For convenience, consider using an air fryer.
