Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat, and stir in the lemon juice and zest along with salt and pepper.
  5. Place cod fillets in a baking dish and pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over them.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cod is flaky and fully cooked.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the garlic butter sauce in advance and warm before use. For convenience, consider using an air fryer.
