Korean Gochujang Baked Wings are a delicious and spicy twist on traditional chicken wings, marinated in a flavorful gochujang sauce and baked to perfection.

- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated wings in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more gochujang to the marinade.
- These wings can be served with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
- Leftover wings can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
