Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated wings in a single layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more gochujang to the marinade.
