- Wooden sticks or skewers
Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly, then insert wooden sticks into the tops.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and vinegar. Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches a boil.
- Once boiling, add the Kool-Aid packet and stir until fully dissolved.
- Continue to cook the mixture until it reaches the hard crack stage (300°F or 150°C).
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before dipping the apples into the candy mixture.
- Twist the apples to coat them evenly, then place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and harden.
