- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Cooking Surface: Preheat the grill to medium heat or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced kielbasa, chopped cabbage, diced potatoes, sliced onion, and minced garlic. Drizzle the olive oil, then sprinkle the smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently.
- Create Your Foil Packs: Tear off four large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Divide the mixture among the sheets.
- Seal the Packs: Fold the foil over the mixture and seal the edges tightly.
- Cook the Packs: Place on the grill or a baking sheet in the oven. Cook for about 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Finish and Serve: Open the packs carefully, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
Make packs ahead of time and store in the fridge. Add other veggies or adjust spices to suit your taste.
