- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 2–3 jalapeños, diced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, and diced jalapeños.
- Form the mixture into small balls or poppers, about the size of a golf ball.
- Prepare a three-step dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each popper in flour, dip in eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs until coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry each popper for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Combine sour cream with additional ranch seasoning for the dip.
- Serve the poppers hot with creamy dip on the side.
