A deliciously spicy twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring creamy cheese and jalapeños.

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Place one slice of bread, cheese side up, in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, cheese side down.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and add the remaining butter.
- Cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeños to your spice preference.
- For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or other toppings.
- Serve with a side of salsa or dipping sauce for added zest.
