- 2 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
- 1/4 cup sliced peaches
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and peaches.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeños based on your spice preference.
- For a sweeter flavor, use ripe peaches.
- Serve with a side of tomato soup for a classic pairing.
