  • Yield: 24 pinwheels 1x
  • Diet: Gluten-Free option available

Description

Italian Pinwheels are a delightful fusion of crispy tortillas and creamy, savory fillings that burst with flavor in every bite. The contrast of the crunchy exterior and the smooth, herb-infused cream cheese creates a sensory experience that is both satisfying and irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Tortillas: 4 large flour tortillas
  • Cream Cheese Filling:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable Layer:
    • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
    • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
    • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • Meat Layer:
    • 1 cup sliced salami
    • 1 cup sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Layer the chopped spinach, roasted red peppers, black olives, salami, and pepperoni evenly over the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla.
  4. Starting from one edge, tightly roll each tortilla into a log shape. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Once chilled, remove the plastic wrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter.
