Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each one before the next.
- Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
- Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about two inches between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth for the glaze.
- Dip the tops of the cooled cookies into the glaze and sprinkle with colorful sprinkles.
- Allow the glaze to set before serving.
