Ingredients

  1. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, honey, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is warm but not boiling.
  2. Add the dried lavender and let it steep for about 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender buds.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until completely cold.
  6. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
