- 4 Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- Optional: Sliced tomatoes or crispy bacon
Instructions
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half without cutting all the way through to create a pocket.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter inside each roll half.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the skillet and fill with Monterey Jack cheese.
- Press down with the top halves and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Make ahead by preparing rolls in advance and storing wrapped in foil. Reheat in a skillet or oven.
