Description

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese, using sweet Hawaiian rolls and creamy Monterey Jack cheese for a comforting and indulgent meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • Optional: Sliced tomatoes or crispy bacon

Instructions

  1. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half without cutting all the way through to create a pocket.
  2. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter inside each roll half.
  4. Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the skillet and fill with Monterey Jack cheese.
  5. Press down with the top halves and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing rolls in advance and storing wrapped in foil. Reheat in a skillet or oven.
