Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda until well combined.
- In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until fluffy and pale.
- Add eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated before adding the next. Mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
- Gently fold in candy crystals until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges turn golden and centers appear slightly soft.
- Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
