- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls.
- Roll each ball in a mixture of garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
- Place the balls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add more garlic or herbs to the butter mixture.
- These rolls are best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
