  • For the Casserole:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
    • 1 cup diced onion
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Topping:
    • 1 cup crushed garlic croutons
    • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Remove from heat and fold in the cooked bacon and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. In a small bowl, combine crushed croutons with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole. Top with remaining cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  10. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
