- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer noodles, shrimp mixture, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute shrimp with chicken or vegetables for a different flavor.
- Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before slicing for easier serving.
