  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, add them to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce and toss to coat.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
