Ingredients

Scale
  • Noodles: 200g ramen noodles
  • Beef Marinade:
    • 300g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • Broth:
    • 4 cups beef broth
    • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Toppings:
    • 2 green onions, chopped
    • 1 boiled egg, halved
    • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
    • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a pot, bring the beef broth to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 4-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. To serve, place the cooked noodles in a bowl, pour the hot broth over them, and top with the cooked beef and desired toppings.
  6. Garnish with green onions, a halved boiled egg, bean sprouts, and nori strips. Enjoy immediately!
