Description
A deliciously indulgent grilled cheese sandwich featuring the sweet and savory combination of figs and prosciutto.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheese (preferably Gruyère or Brie)
- 2 slices of prosciutto
- 2 tablespoons of fig jam
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Spread fig jam on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer cheese and prosciutto on top of the fig jam on one slice.
- Top with the second slice of bread, fig jam side down.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add fresh arugula or spinach inside the sandwich.
- Use a panini press for a crispier texture.
- Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
