Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture.
- Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and stir until combined.
- Mix in the granulated sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract, being careful not to overmix.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet banana mixture using a spatula.
- Combine the streusel topping ingredients until coarse crumbs form.
- Pour the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the streusel topping over it.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, checking for doneness around the 55-minute mark.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
