- 1 lb ground hamburger
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground hamburger and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in pepperoni and cheeses.
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and fill it with the meat and cheese mixture.
- Cover with another pie crust, sealing the edges. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the filling.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
