Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of Havarti cheese
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the Havarti cheese, cucumber slices, and dill.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt and pepper to the cucumbers.
- Try using whole grain or sourdough bread for a different taste.
- This sandwich pairs well with a side of tomato soup.
