- 1 pound of Italian sausage
- 1 package (9 ounces) of cheese tortellini
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) of diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) of tomato sauce
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat and transfer the sausage to the crockpot.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Stir in the cheese tortellini and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
- Before serving, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top and let it melt.
