Ingredients

- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup red lentils, rinsed

- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Boil the sweet potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
- In a separate pot, cook the red lentils in water until soft, about 10-15 minutes.
- Drain the lentils and mash them together with the sweet potatoes.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
- Form the mixture into patties and coat them with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
