Instructions
- Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, folding gently until just mixed.
- Gently fold in the toasted pecans.
- Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron, cooking until golden brown and crispy (about 4-5 minutes).
- Serve stacked with butter, maple syrup, and dusted with powdered sugar.
Notes
