Description
Delightful poppers filled with creamy mozzarella, enveloped in crispy bacon and drizzled with a sweet maple glaze.

- 8 oz thick-cut bacon
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wrap each mozzarella ball tightly with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Roll the bacon-wrapped mozzarella in panko breadcrumbs for an even coat.
- Arrange the coated poppers on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until bacon is golden brown and crispy.
- While baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan, stir in maple syrup and garlic powder, and simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Remove the poppers, drizzle with the sweet maple glaze and serve immediately.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Assemble a day beforehand and bake fresh before serving. Can be cooked in an air fryer for quicker results.
