- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add shredded chicken, honey, and black pepper; stir to combine and heat through.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and milk until smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni and chicken mixture to the cream cheese mixture; stir until well combined.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of honey and pepper to taste.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes.
