Description

Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are a luxurious seafood dish that combines the sweet, tender meat of lobster with a rich, velvety garlic butter sauce. Each bite offers a delightful contrast of textures, from the succulent lobster to the smooth, buttery sauce, creating an indulgent flavor experience that is both savory and slightly sweet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Lobster Tails: 4 large (about 6-8 oz each), thawed if frozen
  • Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnish:
    • Fresh parsley, chopped
    • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center, stopping just before the tail fin.
  3. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and lay it on top of the shell.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Stir in lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  6. Brush the garlic butter sauce generously over the lobster meat.
  7. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle with any remaining garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
