Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the cranberries and orange zest.
- Mix heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Add the cream mixture to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and pat it into a circle about 1-inch thick.
- Cut into wedges and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
