Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and celery, cooking until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread, cooked onion and celery, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the cranberries and diced apples until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the broth and beaten eggs. Pour this mixture over the bread mixture, stirring gently to combine.
- Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the stuffing is heated through.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
