Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter, about 2/3 full for each donut.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While the donuts are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a small bowl.
  8. Once the donuts are done, let them cool for a few minutes before removing them from the pan.
  9. Coat the warm donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
