- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fill the donut pan with the batter, about 2/3 full for each donut.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the donuts are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a small bowl.
- Once the donuts are done, let them cool for a few minutes before removing them from the pan.
- Coat the warm donuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a dash of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
- These donuts are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days.
