- 2 cans of cinnamon roll dough
- 4 cups of sliced apples
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
- 1/2 cup of caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour. Mix well.
- Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and cut it into strips.
- In a pie dish, layer half of the cinnamon roll strips on the bottom.
- Pour the apple mixture over the dough layer.
- Top with the remaining cinnamon roll strips.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
