Description

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring spicy chorizo and creamy pepper jack cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 oz chorizo, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer the chorizo and pepper jack cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some sliced jalapeños.
  • Serve with a side of salsa for dipping.
