Description
A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring spicy chorizo and creamy pepper jack cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 oz chorizo, cooked and crumbled
- 2 slices pepper jack cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Layer the chorizo and pepper jack cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some sliced jalapeños.
- Serve with a side of salsa for dipping.
