Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
