Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  10. Dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate and place them back on the parchment paper to set.
