Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your cupcake tray with festive liners.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Combine sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl and mix until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix, stirring until just combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool on a rack completely before frosting.
- Beat softened butter until creamy, then gradually add cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
- Pour in milk, mixing until desired consistency is reached.
- Mix in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until fluffy.
Notes
