Description
Chicken Paprikash is a traditional Hungarian dish made with chicken, onions, and a rich paprika sauce, often served with dumplings or noodles.

- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
- Sprinkle paprika over the chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in sour cream and heat through before serving.
Notes
- Serve with dumplings or egg noodles for a complete meal.
- Adjust the amount of paprika to taste for more or less heat.
- Can substitute chicken thighs with chicken breasts if preferred.
