Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots (about 32 oz)
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, and sour cream.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.
  5. Top with the frozen tater tots in a single layer.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the tater tots.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired before serving.

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
