- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the pitted cherries and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the pulp.
- In a pitcher, combine the cherry-lemon mixture with sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the sparkling water and mix gently.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
- For a stronger cherry flavor, use cherry juice instead of fresh cherries.
- This drink can be made ahead of time; just add the sparkling water right before serving.
