- 1/2 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with honey and a pinch of salt.
- Spread the ricotta mixture on one slice of bread.
- Layer the halved cherries on top of the ricotta.
- Top with the second slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
