Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together. Divide into two discs, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth and creamy.
- Roll out one disc of dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 4-inch circles.
