A delicious and hearty casserole combining cheeseburgers and tater tots for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 bag frozen tater tots (about 32 oz)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is cooked through.
- Drain excess fat and stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Arrange the tater tots on top of the cheese in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite burger toppings like pickles or ketchup on top before serving.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
