- For the Lasagna:
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, seasoning with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta cheese, half of the ground beef, half of the bacon, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layering process, finishing with a final layer of noodles topped with the remaining Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- This lasagna can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for beef and use low-fat cheese.
