- 1 cup of cornmeal
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and add water, bringing it to a boil.
- Stir in the cornmeal and salt, mixing until well combined.
- Add the shredded cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the mixture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
