Description

A delicious and hearty sandwich featuring turkey, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese on toasted sourdough bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces of sliced turkey
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer the turkey, bacon, and cheddar cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some sliced tomatoes or avocado.
  • Serve with a side of chips or a salad for a complete meal.
