Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. While the brownies cool, prepare the cheesecake layer by beating softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and fold in whipped cream until fully incorporated.
