Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer the mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and grill the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt and pepper to the tomatoes.
- Use sourdough or ciabatta bread for a different texture.
- Serve immediately for the best taste.
