Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the ricotta cheese, chocolate chips, and orange zest until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
