Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the ricotta cheese, chocolate chips, and orange zest until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  9. Cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
