- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and slice the sweet potatoes into rounds about ½ inch thick.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
- Arrange the sweet potato slices in a single layer in a baking dish and pour the butter mixture over them.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the toasted pecans over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until caramelized and bubbly.
