Description

Indulge in the bold flavors of Cajun Steak Bites paired with creamy, cheesy garlic shells. The tender steak bursts with spices, while the shells offer a rich, velvety texture that envelops your palate, creating a delightful contrast in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Cajun Steak Bites:
    • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
    • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • For the Cheesy Garlic Shells:
    • 8 oz medium shell pasta
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cooked shell pasta to the skillet, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the pasta is well coated.
  6. Return the Cajun steak bites to the skillet, mixing everything together. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead by preparing the steak bites and cheesy shells separately, then combining them just before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a plant-based cream alternative.
