Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Penne is a creamy and flavorful pasta dish that combines succulent shrimp with a rich Alfredo sauce and a kick of Cajun spices.

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked penne and shrimp to the sauce, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add more Cajun seasoning or a dash of hot sauce.
- This dish can be made with chicken or vegetables for a different variation.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
